Description: Whoever wants what he already has, is truly free - this principle brings the gourmet restaurant Tim Raue under the hummingbirds' sign in Berlin's Kreuzberg district to its maximum capacity. Creativity, uniqueness and freedom are the most important attributes in the Restaurant Tim Raue, which offers unusual creations with an interesting mix of both European and Asian cuisine. Inspired by Japanese product perfection, Thai aromas and Chinese cooking philosophy, the head chef links all of these ideas to produce well balanced harmonious food every time. By doing this, he places special criteria on his meals: the dishes must bestow energy, vitality and not be a burden to the body and soul. Sugar, dairy produce and gluten are completely excluded from all side dishes such as bread, noodles and rice. Close to Checkpoint Charlie, the Kreuzberg district in Berlin is the right area for the understated Tim Raue restaurant, in which enjoyment and a general sense of well being are both top priorities on the menu.

Wonderfull food, wonderful service, just wonderful in every expect! A MUST! We had a 4 course meny and loved it.... <3 A hidden gem. Atmosphere - less is more.

My daughter and I dined as a special treat to end our time in Berlin. We chose the 4 course set option with matching wines. The meal was outstanding and the service could not be faulted. Well worth the money and less expensive than similar in Australia. The Reisling served with the crayfish was a highlight

If You would like to have a very special evening with great food and wines this is the place. You will have an Asian touch in the food and that was one great experience for me!

The staff found it difficult to understand our questions regarding the food. So much so Mr Raue graced us with his presence.The food is an experience, however not one I would repeat. OK, let's get the price tag out of the way first. No doubt this is an expensive ticket. Having said that the food is quite good, expertly prepared, beautifully presented and creatively put together. One of the best restaurants you could visit, truly first class. Tasting menu and wine pairing of exceptional quality. Worthy of 2 Michelin stars. If you are in Berlin, don't miss it.

148€ per person for set menu. it's not a matter of money but portion exagerating small !! lot of waiting between each of them: small + waiting = impatience !! because you are hungry! Tim Raue is a truly great and ambitious chef with a restaurant contemporary decorated in a up-and-coming area of Berlin.
