This is a truly international café with a great atmosphere and marvellous muffins. It has many cutural events, including art classes and German/English language exchange. Very friendly and well worth a visit.

Been here twice and really like the place. Nice to just sit down and relax in this place with friends. Oh and btw, the wifi works perfect and is fast!

I love the Gaudy cafe . I have been a regular for a good while and find it to be the perfect place for a restorative smoothie or a powerful espresso . Popped in for a smoothie and cake. Nice enough and friendly enough staff but don't understand the amazing reviews some have left. Opposite an unattractive building on a busy road And inside the decor was nothing special and a bit mismatched. Serves a purpose but the 5th best place to eat in the whole of Berlin? No way!

This cafe somehow has a great reputation but it is undeserving. It is a complete tourist trap with average coffee, a very limited menu and terrible atmosphere. Avoid like the plague!!!

Having had the boiled eggs I can say the food was very reasonably priced and enjoyable. However, the atmosphere let this place down. It was pretentious and not at all welcoming. If your in the local area with a MacBook then great...if not don't bother...

After three visits this week, I will say that I like like cafe. My daughters apartment is 30 meters away and it is great to have a cafe run by english speakers.
