I can't say it's the best bratwurst as it was the first restaurant I have been to in Nuremburg but willing to bet it's still one of the best especially if you are looking for that smoked flavour. We had asparagus sauerkraut and horseradish on the side along with the frankonian soup. I ordered the six sausages while my husband... More

If you want to try the German bratwurst go for it! It is a good place to have a nice small lunch. It is fresh, quick and good price.

I stopped by for a quick takeaway bratwurst roll (with 3 tiny sausages) for EUR 2.20. After eating quite a few Thuringia bratwurst the previous few days in Weimar and Dresden, I thought these weren't great. The atmosphere inside seemed good, but it was a little strange having the takeaway customers queueing around the BBQ in the middle of the... More

Located on the main drag towards the castle we decided to pop in for a quick bit to eat. To say this place is busy is an understatement! Inside has the smoky (cooking smoke!) atmosphere with delicious smells. The menu is basic and it offers Bratwurst! With a variety of sides such as sauerkraut, potato salads and bread rolls. It... If you don't mind eating great Bratwurst possibly next to people you don't know, this is the place for you. Service was very quick but you might need to wait a few minutes for a table; or a space at a table. However, it was worth the wait.

We showed up (6 guests) for lunch and although there was a short wait, when the "hostess" asked us how many people, and indicated that we should follow her, we wrongly assumed that she was showing us to a table. She disappeared into the crowd, leaving us standing in the middle of restaurant which was extremely crowded. We were literally... More

We loved this restaurant. It’s just south of the Imperial Castle and St. Sebaldus Church. Some here have described it as touristy but it’s very traditional. You can expect good food and the brats are the specialty. You can sit down and order or order to go from the bar. Either way you will get your food quickly. They seem... More

This restaurant was recommended by my hotel owner and it did not disappoint. I found the atmosphere cozy and inviting and the wait staff was efficient and helpful. The cooking area is in the center and open so you can see everything. If you have to take a table close to the kitchen it might not be the best. It... More

Yes, this is a well known tourist stop but that does not detract from the fact that they serve very well made Nürnberger Bratwurst and nice Weissbier. It is busy and can be very hectic during the holidays but this place is VERY welcoming and friendly. Unusual for a German fast food place. The owner greets everyone at the door... More
