For foodies the best place to buy edible souvenirs. They have everything, from cheese to coffee, from cigars to cognac and from marmelade to pate.And the shop is beautiful.

... of great original coffee and the "old fashioned way" in all positive aspects. The atmosphere is great in every point of view, both at the restaurant as well as in the shop.

You can still get a 10 euro breakfast off the menu ( in addition to the fanciest & priciest) brunch in town at this marvelous monument to food in the center of Munich. Also a great place for high tea or an afternoon champagne with the locals.

Beyond Gelson's in LA. Most high end food store I have seen and the restaurant is exceptional too. Packed with every kind of food and goodie imaginable. We drink their coffee in the states and it is superb. Even does Harrods one better. Expensive but you get the best quality. Deli looked out of this world as did the chocolates.... More

A must when visiting Munich - german version of Harrods in London. Beautiful food halls, staff in tradition dress, amazing quality and products. Lovely old building which was a joy to walk around and buy gifts from to take home.

My daughter and I had to wait a bit for a table but there is plenty to feast your eyes upon while pacing. We ate in the oyster bar area and feasted on lobster bisque ---- marvelous!!! The upstairs pastry and coffee area is less remarkable.

Really lovely shop full of delightful things to eat. I would avoid it at the weekend though as it gets far too busy and a bit claustrophobic.
