We visited edelweiss and the staff recommended that we try the food at this cafe. Their white asparagus soup was in season--it was delicious! Their salads are huge-enough for two people in my opinion:) my husband and I shared the house salad-with Tuna shrimp and turkey--yum! Prices were reasonable in my opinion!

This restaurant has the best salads and baguettes! We ate here twice while in Garmisch for Christmas. Traditional Germany food with a variety of other things, salads, soups, etc.

This was our fourth visit in four years and the restaurant continues to provide wonderful traditional German cuisine with a unique touch. The fresh garden salades are especially good. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service is excellent; in fact we had the same waitress we had the first time we visited. Highly recommend reserving in advance.

I stopped by here for lunch with a business colleauge and was surprised how busy it was. Went for a bite to eat and a beer or two as you do . Word of warning go hungry the side salads are huge , the food is very good and being in Germany the beer was good also :) If you go say hello to the dog for me .
