For years I came here to the patisserie shop to splurge on fruit tarts, coffee and cream cakes. I assumed from the elegant crowd that the daytime restaurant would be expensive. How mistaken I was! The prices are moderate considering the quality. The place is an especially welcoming environment for women alone, the service attentive and friendly. When the weather... More

When in the Black Forest I guess you should eat black forest cake. We did and were not disappointed at all. Excellent coffee added to the experience. Warm, comfortable seating and prices that were more than reasonable make this place a winner.

This is one of the most famous pâtisseries in Germany, thoroughly deserving its reputation. If you can restrain your impulse just to admire the goodies on show, walk through the shop to the large restaurant behind. Elegant and full of rich Russian clients, as it always has been, there is a small lunch menu with excellent soups and salads... and,... More

We picked up a Black Forest cake and a lemon tart to-go one rainy day. The prices were higher than average--about fifty cent to one euro a piece extra, but we couldn't resist passing by the mouthwatering display empty-handed. There were both delicious, the cake clearly with a generous splash of brandy and the tart rich and fresh. I went... More

We luckily discovered this gem while walking around in picturesque Baden Baden. This patisserie sells one of the yummiest cakes and tarts in this area. The decor of this Cafe is extremely attractive and welcoming with its pink hues and mouth watering delicacies displayed in the window. We tried the black forest gateau which is the regional speciality and a... More

It's true that the prices here are a little above what you might expect to pay at other cafes in Baden-Baden - but it's worth it for the outstanding cakes and service. Highly recommended, especially the black forest gateau!

A very popular place for a light lunch and the traditional German afternoon coffee and cake. Very good choice of cakes and good coffee. Sit outside if weather permits. Local galore come here.
