We were here during the MIPTV. The place was bustling. Great plateaux de fruits de mer, with different Oysters, clams, praws, whelks and crab. Mostly raw and even sea urchins. Great experience. Prepared food is soso. Stiff prices, like most places here.

Nice busy restaurant set back from La Croisette. Good service, excellent seafood platter and a stunning spaghettini saumon to follow. Not too pricey

We always buy our take out seafood here. Fresh oysters (many varieties too!), sea urchins when in season, crab, shrimp, clams ... We have absolutely no complaints about the quality of seafood. The shuckers are always very friendly.

The seafood is sent from the gods. Giant crabs and langoustine. It is also a great place to people watch. The only let down were the waiters, who were typically French and slightly arrogant!!

We have traveled to Cannes annually since 2000, and Coquillages Brun is a "must do." It's not about the setting - the restaurant itself is "no frills" - it's about the seafood. You won't care about the lack of decor. The restaurant is on the corner of Rue Felix Faure and Rue Louis Blanc, and before it's brought into the... More

It is simply a classic! Excellent fresh seafood, good service, relaxed atmosphere. It is often very busy and they do not take reservations, so come early or be prepared to queue for a place. I really like that they concentrate on serving great seafood and basically nothing else.

Went there for dinner this evening. It's a casual place where you can buy shellfish and seafood to take away if you wish. We had a platter of prawns, langoustine and crab, followed by a seafood soup and mixed salad. Delicious. 80 euros. You can't beat it

This a casual place with great, fresh seafood, but beware of the bill. Some items are prices per 100grams, so when you order the 500gram Langost, be prepared to pay several hundred euros.

One of the most popular restaurants in Cannes for eating shellfish and seafood, there is often a long queue of people outside waiting to be called by number: if someone misses the call, the place is lost and given to the next in queue. I guess it is not possible to make a reservation, I have been there only a... More

A group of diners left a shrimp and a langoustine on their mixed platter when they left the restaurant. I have no problem with it being put aside for staff to eat - this is the normal thing to do. However, the shrimp and langoustine went directly the TO GO SALES COUNTERS on the side of the building - thrown... More
