You all know the search for a good little restaurant in a town that you have not been to for a long time. We found chez Felix and the chef and his waitress gave us a memorable dinner. An indian menu was our selection and it was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and sitting there, just beside Les Arenas made... More

Recommended by our hosts at Hotel Constantin, we trekked across Arles from the Musee Reattu to try this restaurant for lunch.Seated immediately in the outside terrace - definitely full contact dining since all the diners were packed in tight between the building and the rail...but everyone was good company with good conversation. At that time of day, we were in... More

A trip to Arles wouldn't be complete without this unforgettable dining experience. This tiny, unique restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the Roman amphitheatre. I had the most delicious slow-cooked gardiane de tauriau followed by a wonderfully traditional French tarte aux pommes for dessert. If you want a truly French dining experience then you must try this place.

Eric has to be the nicest and coolest proprietor/chef that you could wish to meet.I had the pleasure of eating at his restaurant on the penultimate evening of a two week trip to the camargue and it proved to be one of the gastro highlights of the journey for me. I was dining alone as my partner had eaten some... More

On a cold rainy day in Arles, we saught shelter in this cosy cafe overlooking the ampitheatre. It was a true delight to find such warm hospitality from Felix and his sister. The homecooked curry was such a delight after 2 weeks of French cuisine and the chocolate fondant, to die for. But the best part of this afternoon was... More

This was one of my "the food was so good, I just wanted to hold it in my mouth and cry" experiences. I was captured first by the setting: outside in literally the shadow of the ancient amphitheatre that is the center of the old city of Arles. The second thing I noted was the "slow food" sign in the... More

We chose this restaurant because of its extensive vegetarian options, but also some non-veg for my boyfriend. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy and we seated ourselves with a nice view of the amphitheatre, only to have to wait about 20 minutes to even be acknowledged by the waitresses. We chose instantly from the impressive looking menu, but my boyfriend was... More

We stumbled upon this little cafe in the shade on a hot summer day and found an amazing gourmet meal with fresh ingredients and fabulous service. One of the best meals of the trip! Tres magnifique!

Arles, like many other tourist destinations in this part of the world, is full of cafes with long menus serving the usual fare. The beauty of Cafe Felix is that the menu is short, everything is made to order and fresh. We had organic salads, duck to die for, rich and tender bull stew (more romantic name than that!) and,... Nice small restaurant serving several local products in the menu. Star of the menu is the plum pie and runner up the chocolate fondant. Thank you Felix.
