Food is excellent, rustique, old-time decoration that blends nicely with the ambience. Service is very friendly. Highly recommended
We ate here as we are staying just around the corner at the Mercure. The food was fantastic and the décor very homely We got the last table, so were very lucky and we were surrounded by a mixture of tourists and locals Three courses for 39 euros, which I thought was very good value I ordered the terrine which... The food is typically French and very tasty. The hostess is very kind and speaks good English. We really enjoyed our evening at this restaurant.
Classic French country cooking in traditional surroundings. Very good, rich food, great atmostsphere and friendly hosts - soak up the ambiance and walk home carefully to work off the calories. Probably not a haven for vegetarians - but a real taste of France. Not cheap compared to the 'walk in' brasseries closer to La Butte de Montmartre, but good value... More
lunch at le bouclard was one of the richest meals i've ever had and i'm no stranger to heavy old school french food. the decor is nothing special but the service is friendly and helpful and thankfully its of off the tourist heavy trail of nearby montmartre so you get to rub shoulders with the locals. i began my meal... I've stopped by to see Michel for Years. The Cuisine is classic, stodgy, buttery, spot on. Unfortunately, Parisian restaurants are changing-but not this place. If you want the "real Deal", authentic Parisian, gorgeous food, and bonne atmosphere, you cant go wrong here. Whats lacking?-rien if you love French Cuisine. This is the place where you buy the champagne, order the... More
A great restaurant serving classic french dishes - do not expect fine, exquisite modern french but rather give this restaurant a visit if you are interested in trying out the best in traditional, hearty, french cuisine - the restaurant is upfront about this, saying that they use recipes passed down from the family's "grandmother" . Expect rich flavours, the use... More
An excellent authentic French restaurant on a side street behind Place de Clichy. Much better food than the places out on the main road where there is a lot of foot traffic. The owner was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The setting is a bit old fashioned and quirky, but the food is great. A good place to branch... More
An excellent restaurant in all ways. First class food, wine and service. Ordered the crayfish tails x2, tarragon chicken x1 and veal x1. Couldn't manage a pudding! Don't be put off by the outside.
As this was the first time for us in this part of Paris we asked the hotel concierge to recommend somewhere locally in the Sacre Coeur area. Le Bouclard is a little unassuming restaurant and as you step in this is confirmed by the old fashion décor table set ups etc.. I guess it must be a family owned and... More
