After a great deal of difficulty getting reservations to this small, jewel-box of a restaurant (about 25 seats), we finally arrived at the front door for what became by far the best 3-star dinner we have ever enjoyed. The maitre d' asks if there is anything you cannot eat (and we said no), and from there on, over the next... More

we Had a great lunch here - the lunch tasting menu was a good deal (for a once in a while special meal). As it was my first time in Paris, I felt it warranted one splurge!!! We were welcomed and told to relax and enjoy the experience from the off, each course was beautifully presented and explained in a... More

You will never go wrong with this place. It's very intimate, and the people behind it are not the stereotypical French that the world knows. They are congenial, helpful, fun to chat with, and just damn good at what they do. And the food? All I can say is... Wow. The way they have studied flavors and wine pairing is... More

Wonderful dining experience, enjoyed my wife's birthday in this restaurant. The food was a education in good food the service impeccable and the staff were so helpful with the menu. I would recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. If your planning a trip to Paris then book your table, you won't be disappointed.

I choose this restaurant as a bet that I had with my husband. He likes to eat well, so I had to pick the best. This restaurant is rated number 18 of S. Pellegrin World's 50 Best Restaurants, and has three Michelin stars. It does not have a web page and it was quite difficult to get a reservation. The... More

We arrived early (730) by mistake after taking the Metro over from the Marais where we were staying. It was drizzling mildly and we found a skinny, bearded man sitting on the steps to the restaurant (who later turned out to be the sommelier). He told us that they were not open until 815, so we walked over to the... More

I recommend the gastro menu (120 euros) in which the chef let express his creativity which allows him won his third star. It really is the restaurant steadily rising. Reservations are more than 1 month in advance. This is a culinary experience that prépare.Chaque season, Astrance changes its menu tasting and everyone runs! For the pleasure of the senses, awaken... Unfortunately for us l'astrance didn't live up to expectations. Perhaps they were too high. We could not fault the service and the restaurant ambience was very relaxed and down to earth, not stuffy in the slightest. However the food whilst excellently and cleverly presented it was missing taste and heat. After the 15 course tasting menu, which took 5 hours.... More

Excelente!! We are foodies. So when travelling we always chose a special restaurant. This time was Lastrance. An outstanding restaurant. Impeccable service, excellent food. Pricy, but was worth it any penny..I would highly recommend and will go again!

Having booked a few days in Paris as a treat, we started thinking about having an extra special dining experience while we were there. We did some research and L'Astrance appeared time and again as one of the best restaurants, not just in Paris, but in the world. I called up hoping to book for lunch just a few days... More
