The staff were frosty, but the food (artichoke starter) was excellent, earning a 4 star for the food only. Our party met there before the dinner rush, so we didn't have to wait too long for service or for our order. It was a comfortable place for a quick meet up over a glass of wine before moving on.

30 m away from baby gap, the personnel succeeds in making the place baby unfriendly.
We were a couple with a baby, and although baby demand space, the waitress has commanded us with an unpleasant tone not to take a bigger table... which was just plain rude in an empty cafe.

i went there with some colleagues and was a bit concerned as we walked past the sex shops. However on a lovely cobble road, we found Bertie. i had the crab tempura and mushroom risotto both were absolutely yummy. everyone enjoyed their meals ambiance was lovely, fab music and attentive staff. we stayed there till fairly late ( not sure...

Much better than the other reviews, fast and friendly service, good food ( the Saint-Jaques were excellent) in a very relaxed surroundings a bit of the busy l'Opera area.
