I had read about this place, and happened to stay near the Rue de Rennes location. Picked up a few pieces after browsing their website. The lady at the shop spoke English, and helped me select. I went home and gobbled up 2 pieces. Amazing dark chocolate praline goodness. I will be back!

Even if you don't eat chocolate (but, really?) you must visit Patrick Roger. It is almost a museum of chocolate! OK, so no chocolate? You've GOT to have the best macaroons in Paris - and that's saying something. They simply melt in your mouth.

The chocolate is outstanding! No doubt about that. But, I took my nine year old daughter and we later passed another beautiful chocolate shops a few blocks down on the same side of the street towards the Odeon train station that had MAGNIFICENT sculptures and was half the price. That one was much more exciting to us!

This is by far the best chocolatier in the whole world. I was lucky enough to meet Mr Roger on one of his atelier (workshop) visits which told us how their chocolate was made. They only use the finest ingredients and you can tell when eating their delicacies. Being a Parisian expat in the UK I always make sure I... More

The chocolate is amazing and we would have bought a lot more of it had the haughty young man been more helpful. We tried to guess what the flavor was in the sample he offered and he wasn't interested in helping us find it so we could find a box to bring home. We bought several other things that we... More

Great professional and creative pralines! Interesting chocolate sculptures in the window that you must photograph. Really worth a detour ( there are few branches in Paris) even if you don't pass near his shops. Every "chocoholic" will appreciate a gift from Patrick Roger!

Wanted to get some chocolates for gifts when I got back home but I got carried away when I got there and bought more for myself. The aromas, when you enter are beyond!!! Loved everything I tried. Some unusual, some more traditional but all so delicious! You have to visit it if you go to Paris.

The whole place was immersed in chocolatey aroma. The lean, bitter-sweet dark chocolates are so fine and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
