I walked by here, saw good reviews on Trip Advisor, and walked in.
The outside terrace makes it look like the bistrot next door. But, once inside, it is obvious this is a much more modern and refined affair.
I had a 3-course lunch menu for less than 20 € for the food:

The best we have found in Bourges. Very inventive, modern cooking. Superb selection of wines by the glass, so we had one to match each course. The outside terrace on the edge of an attractive square is lovely in fine weather. The inside feels more like a chic big city address than somewhere likely to be in Bourges but none...

The time was fine, so it was possible to have our dinner on the outside terrace overlooking the square. You could have a two or three courses menu for just under or just over 40 €, which we found acceptable taking into account the central location. We enjoyed what we ordered very much. Beautiful restaurant in one of the best locations in Bourges. Well worth hunting out as it is a million times better than the tourist traps nearby.
