Need to book as appear to be popular with locals; hot mussels with foie gras; good fish soup; really good puddings (white Valrhona chocolate with mango was simply stunning). Good wine list.

I went for lunch and oysters, and a crepe with brill with carrots and asparagus in a light butter sauce. I sat outside and enjoyed the view of the sea, and a section of Saint Malo!

Fantastic seafood platter (asked if they could make it for one as menu said for 2 min and it was no problem at all). My partner's mussels with cream were delicious. Service was excellent. The view is amazing.

Quite a buzzy place and very friendly service our meal was well cooked, tasty and well presented. Tremendous atmosphere and as we were the only English all locals we must have stumbled on a good one.

Fabulous seafood.
We had the set menu first night, and enjoyed it so much we went back to the same restaurant the second night of our stay. The second night was even better!
Service was excellent and the owner remembered us the second night.
The view over the estuary of La Rance is spectacular.
Definitely worth making the trip from...

We had an excellent lunch at La Cale in Solidor, St. Malo. Do not miss the shelffish or soupe de poisson starters or the fresh fish main courses. Unbelievable value for the quality. The owner was our server and she couldn't have been nicer.
