Description: The stunning Gaucho Manchester restaurant, set in a converted Grade II Listed Methodist Hall (the organ is still in residence), is spread over two lively mezzanine areas, with an open industrial kitchen and three private rooms. Situated by Deansgate and close to the Arndale Centre, Argentinean beef is the soul of the menu at Gaucho Manchester, which flies in the matured meat direct from Buenos Aires, although there are plenty of other equally succulent cuts to whet your appetite. This luxurious and spacious restaurant is also the perfect place to enjoy a large Argentine wine list and regular live music.

You would never believe this big old church was hidden at the back of Deansgate. The steaks are the best ever and the service isgreat.

Fantastic atmosphere, staff & food!! Would recommend the Tuna Carpaccio & the dianne sauce. The house champagne is excellent too.

Excellent steaks Excellent service Great atmosphere If I could say anything bad it would only be "why are the chairs so low" ??? Bit like a children's tea party chairs lol well the table we were sat at anyway ! But the amazing tasty steaks made up for that. Pricey! steaks start at about £25 right up to £100 ?... More

Amazing place, amazing service, AMAZING food! Yes it's not cheap but you get what you pay for- we'll be back.... If you have to ask the price... You can't afford it. Don't go if you're expecting a cheap meal....

Well it's a steak house so it's never going to be cheap and they have to pay for the decor somehow. But the food is great. The service is as attentive as it needs to be down to the waitress showing us the different cuts of meat we could opt for - if that is what you're after. The meat... More

Visited Saturday 4th May with my wife and two friends. First impressions were great, slick front desk service and we were seated without delay. Overall OK, but pricey for what you get particularly the wine and cheese board plus side orders of veg, fries and sauces all chargeable extra's.Two lasting memories are the notable lack of sharp knives and how... Gaucho is definitely a destination if you are looking for a special meal in Manchester, especially if that 'special' should involve superb steak and excellent Argentinian wine. The restaurant is set in a converted church and it's positively a shrine to beef. A cow hide theme prevails across the furnishing, and flames shoot up through the grills of the large,... More

Authetic argentine steaks and wine in Manchester. Nice restaurant, good atmosphere, wonderful wine and steaks in the city centre, Deansgate.

Went here for my 60th birthday and it could not have been any better. Greeted by staff singing happy birthday, embarrassing but very nice. The staff were all friendly, helpful and informative and the venue striking. It was Saturday night and it was absolutely buzzing but attention to detail was maintained throughout by the very attentive staff. The rib eye... More
