On a recent visit to Westport we went to Nicolas for lunch. I had a lovely spicey bean soup followed by coffee and carrot cake. They were both beautifully served. We saw them cooking so we asked if we could take home our dinner, a freshly made Beef Stragernoff for two but there was almost enough for 3 people in... More

Westport is always noted for it's excellent cafe's and restaurants but even with such great competition Nicola's manages to stick out. Food is always delicious, and you can tell it is created with great care and love. Lovely place to sit down and have a chat, or even just to grab a takeaway on the way home. Keep up the... More

I eat here more than anywhere else in Westport, not because Nicola is a good friend and kayaking buddy, but because the food is allways great, prepared with care and pride and is good value. Great for a gourmet take-away. Don't stay in Westport without paying a visit.

Visited Nicolas Food Emporium last weekend after a long trip up from Kerry. Nicola and her staff welcomed us like we were locals popping in on a daily basis. We ordered a range of delicious food from the menu. The light american pancakes were to die for i asked for an egg instead of the bacon which was accompanying the... More

A little cramped and not easy to find but very tasty food, a changing menu and excellent coffee. Prices are moderate and service is pleasant, especially when they are not too busy.

A pleasant surprise in Westport, had Breakfast at this great little cafe and I have never had better porridge they had thought it all through served in closed glass jar to keep hot with stewed berries and honey with cream or yoghurt we have now been spoilt and I doubt we will be happy elsewere there capuchino was good also.

This is a lovely little restaurant! The food is fab and all homemade and relatively healthy! Brilliant for vegetarians/meat eaters! I felt it was a little pricey but I think Westport is over-priced in general! I would definitely recommend this though! Don't forget that the car park is pay and display!!
