This is still the best food and entertainment venue in Limerick. Excellent food, open fire ambience and great traditional music session on our last evening visit. Super venue for lunch also More

We had a lovely dinner at the Locke Bar & Oyster House. The service was excellent, and the seafood stew - one of their signature dishes, was just superb. The atmosphere was warm and calm early in the evening, but got louder & rowdier as the night went on - we stayed for the traditional Irish music, but it was... More

We ate dinner here when a guy was taking requests on a piano...It was nice, but we preferred something else. The Traditional Irish Guinness Beef Casserole was... More

On a visit to a friend in Limerick this weekend, he recommended The Locke Bar for Food and a Pint. The three of us sat in the Restaurant Section, next to the fire, crackling away in the back ground. We ordered our Drinks, the Guinness was Superb. We looked over the menu and there was a good variety of seafood,... More

My wife and I were walking the city... decided to stop in and have a drink. We were impressed by the staff and atmosphere. We looked over the menu and decided it might be a good spot for dinner. We came back with our family (kids 12, 15, 20) and had an EXCELLENT time. Well worth the cost... the staff... More

When we visited the Locke Bar, we had sunshine overhead for our entire session of large Caesar Salad and two perfect pints of Guinness. More

Beautiful pub with a fantastic beer garden over looking the canal (or river???) They have some great deals, for a starter and main course, he ordered this while I went for the chowder and chips. The chowder was the best I have had outside of New England, really chunky. He enjoyed his black pudding starter followed by bangers and mash.... More
