Attractive setting and attentive friendly service. We liked the varied early-bird (before 7pm) menu, particularly the Irish stew and the king prawn stir-fry. Sticky toffee pud also pretty good.

Recommended by the owner of where we were staying. Reserved ahead of time but were moved to another table after being seated. Waitress had ' attitude' and certainly could have asked in a better way. Long wait even to place our orders. Too busy for the one waitress. The bruschetta starter poor as only one slice. Crispy duck over priced.... More

Situated down a little lane way off the main street in the town of Killarney. Owner is a Kerryman ticket full of chat and wit. Enjoy a glass of wine outside on the stoney cobbled street, and then when the Irish weather arrives, which is most of the time, enjoy a beautiful meal inside this quaint restaurant with open fires... We asked the locals for their favourite restaurants and they suggested Stonechat. It is off the main street and if you don`t ask will be hard to find. The food was delicious and fresh. traditional Irish food - the restaurant itself is not that big so I will recommend to reserve table or be there before rush time - 8... More

Wanted a little more substance than pub grub. This place was recommended by a local. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak dinner. Loved the vegetable medley

It was our first time in the Stonechat Cafe & Restaurant. The food we had was really good. I had a Bruscetta as a Starter and it was the best one I ever had in Ireland. My husband had the Lamb for the Main Course and he said it was really delicious, he love the gravy. You sitting in a... More

I've eaten all all over the world, and I don't leave a lot of stellar reviews on TA. That being said, I would put our meal at Stonechat as one of my top five. We happened along this restaurant as we strolled through Killarney looking for a place that was off the beaten path. Stonechat caught out eye from the... More

Stone chat is up this little alley off high street and I went there for lunch last week. Killarney like most places at lunch can be quite busy and can be a bit of a wait to get you food. Stonechat is still quiet enough at lunch and food get served faster than other places. We had our baby with... More
