Was a bit wary of eating here as I'd read some less-than-stellar reviews on tripadvisor but I'm glad I gave it a chance. The food was great, the service was friendly and efficient and I walked away happy - not much more that I look for in a dining experience!

Beware: There are two Edens. I booked my family for dinner tonight and after much confusion the manager explained (without humour) that we were booked into the other Eden. The entire matter was handled without any grace - essentially "your problem, mate", and a shrug. I have eaten in Meeting House Sq on many occasions with large business groups and... More

An average meal in an almost empty restaurant. Parfait that was great on texture but delivered an unpalatable acridness on the finish - possibly the oil glaze . Pork belly that was cooked dry with a crackling over glazed and leathery An unusual chickpea and squid and chorizo accompaniment was not paired well. There are other Gardens of Eden better... More

i visited Eden yesterday evening . I was the first person in the restaurant and yet as seated in table 7 beside the kitchen ! I ordered the sea trout special on the basis that it would be fresh a safe bet. What arrived was a small fish tail , overcooked . It was with some greasy potatoes and a... More

.a bit ..(actually a lot ) rushed...waiter trying to snap plates from under you...and canteen like in its charmlessness..may be due to them being packed and having 50% off food this month ....there seemed to be quite a few tables of cheapskates drinking nothing but tap water...(which despite not being one of, as we had 2 glasses of white followed... A beautiful looking restaurant with beautiful decor but without the food or service to match. We started with a meat platter to share and specifically asked to leave out the chicken liver pâté. The "meat platter" then came with just chicken liver pate and duck pastrami. The main courses were average tasting. We chose the cornfed chgicken and fillet of... More

Went here for dinner with a group of friends. Staff were very friendly and very accomodating even though we kept them waiting to order while one of our friends was delayed. Food arrived promptly, and looked very appetizing. I tried my friends rare steak and it was gorgeous, and actually cooked rare, which is difficult to find in dublin, most... More

Although the menu may seem quite small compared to other restaurants, but, what's on the menu was truely delicious. The starters of Eden Smokies and Marinated Salmon was perfectly proportioned and very tasty. Mains of Lamb (with crushed potatoe) and Chicken (with rice) were very more-ish Desserts of Orange Panna Cotta, Chococlate brownie and a cheese board rounded off a... More

The Eden in the heart of the Temple Bar area of Dublin is a more upmarket restaraunt to most found in the general vacinity. It is a fine place for a business lunch and the 'smokies' are a definate favourite. The menu normally has a fine variety of dishes available and each usually have a culinary twist associated with them.... More
