My family wandered in here for lunch while on a recent trip to Dublin, based on reviews, and we were extremely pleased. Gorgeous tile-work meets you as you enter, along with some great aromas. My dish was the Chicken Mahshi, absolutely amazing, though nothing that I tried among the starters and other mains was far off. Absolutely worth a visit... More

Walk past the big Dublin Tourism office toward Grafton Street, and across from the gaudy O'Neill's you'll find a little gem called Cedar Tree. Had lunch there on a Sunday, and was sorely tempted to come back for dinner. Waitstaff is friendly, service is impeccable, and the food . . . oh, the food! Vine leaves, baba ganoush, beef shwarma,... Every so often we like to try something different and The Cedar Tree was chosen for a lunchtime meal, the welcome we received was very warm and friendly all the staff were helpful and attentive in a pleasantly relaxing atmosphere, the food is fairly simple but very cleanly cooked and bursts with flavour. Great place for a relaxing light lunch.

We went to The Cedar Tree for my birthday. It has become my favourite place to eat in Dublin. It is relaxed, friendly and the staff are amazing. It has a real family atmosphere and it is clear that they take real pride in their food and customer service. They even surprised me with a free dessert, and presented it... More

It's one of those places I've passed by many times and always said I'd get around to paying a visit. I'm glad I did. Friendly staff and super food. I've been back a couple of times since trying something new. Great value for money as well

First you are welcome in a quick way than parked on a side and forgotten until a table is free, and when you dare saying you dont like the location of this table in the middle of the way where people heat your chair wu=hile going to the toilet......you annoy them....but they have no choice than change your seat as... This is an excellent restaurant with great value for money dishes. We got the two course lunch which is just 9.95. The flavours and textures are excellent. A decent amount of dishes are available on the lunch menu too. Service was friendly and fast. Would definitely go back.

I've been to The Cedar Tree 4 times in the last year or so, and each time it was amazing! The family that owns and runs the restaurant go out of the way to make sure everything is perfect and are so friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely beautiful and some of their dishes are very traditional, so if... More
