My family and I were brought here by my brother-in-law after a walking tour of Dublin City. The restaurant was certainly in an unusual place that tourists would not have noticed it for sure, and that was precisely the reason why there was a unique feel to this restaurant. The restaurant was located above its very own homeware retail shop... More

Popped in for Sunday brunch. Limited menu. Quality fare. Interesting setting in an old building surrounded by curios. Unique. Worth a look. I liked it. Unusual and hard to describe the ambiance which works well. Relaxed cafe type atmosphere. Simple and clean setting. Really nice food. (add a bit more fish in the pie please) The wine is completely overpriced... More

Ive been going to Avoca for years and my friends do love the scones escpecially the blueberry and also tomato scones. They are big and delicious. THe soups are always good and the bread which comes with the soup to do for. I particularly love the decor as the old fashioned lampshades and mismatched wooden furniture is stunning and it... More

Prices are a bit steep so my three friends and i shared one main; crispy coconut sea bass, and got three desserts; sticky toffee pudding, rhubarb and apple crumble, chocolate meringue roulade. By the end all the plates were wiped clean. The place itself was really beautiful, something out of a interior design book. The service was great, and they... More

We when there for lunch at the Powerscourt branch. We were surprised at the size of the portions and the very good quality of the food. Pavlova portion was big enough for two people and only 5€. Had a lovely time and would good back if in the area again. More

went here for lunch after hearing great things about it and have to say was a little disappointed. The restaurant was busy and we had to wait 30mins for soup and a burger - and the soup was lukewarm when it finally arrived. Good buzz in the place but not cheap and felt rushed. More
