What more can I say- good food, priced right and knowledgeable but unintrusive staff. The early bird menu was a bit limited so went for a la cart which was not much more expensive- had pork belly special which was yum. I wasn’t mad about the desert (sticky toffee pudding with lemon ice-cream) and found the portion a little bit... More

This isn't exactly my favourite location in Dublin and the restaurant looks distinctly average but the food is extraordinary. Firstly, the service was excellent. We had cocktails to start which were great. I had oysters as a starter which were incredibly, with a salsa and vinaigrette type accompaniment which made the traditional Tabasco addition completely obsolete. I had the special... More

We found this place trough the great reviews on Tripadvisor and wanted to see for ourselves what the fuzz was all about. As we wanted to be sure to have a spot, we booked a table in the afternoon, which was no problem. During our welcome we were introduced to the specials and to a cocktail menu. We tried the... More

After spending a while looking for a good restaurant in Dublin that wasn't too pricey we came across the whitefriar grill and visited last night. Made the right choice as this restaurant is a real find! The food was excellent! I went for the surf and turf whilst my other half chose the sea bream. Both were perfectly cooked and... More

The NZ Sauv Blanc was the only savior of the meal. Massive plate of tasteless soup for entree (mushroom). The calamari salad with a few pieces of squid which were like boot leather. 1/2 a chicken way over seasoned and over cooked. Special sea bream : light on flesh and full of bones. (over cooked) Over all for €100 euro... More

Currently working Mon-Thurs in Dublin, and really enjoying the food at this restaurant. The set menu is incredibly good value at €21.50 for three courses. Atmosphere is perfect - not pretentious and with well selected music. The food has been excellent on both of my visits - the burger was one of the best I have ever had in my... More

Was brought here for a girlie brunch for my birthday and was not disappointed. Service was amazing, friendly and efficient, seeing to all our needs, a big gang of girls can't be easy! I had the mixed grill, which was huge and so so tasty. Everyone was really happy with their choices and there are plenty. Food was top notch,... More
