Love this place - Very friendly staff and the food speaks for itself. We went for a random early dinner and were well looked after. The place was quiet at the time so I'm looking forward to seeing it busy. Terrace out back - seats at the front and will be heading here the next time Dublin gets a sunny... More

There are few Spanish restaurants in Dublin and some of them are not truly Spanish (they cook Mexican nachos or burritos together with actual Spanish dishes...), but Viva España is an excellent choice. The prices aren't expensive for Dublin standards and the quality is great. We had dinner with wine and desserts and spent around 17 euro each, which is... More

todo fue fantástico, tapas were great decent sized portions, excellent value for money will probably be visiting this place more often when i am in the area. A great place to eat if you just want something to nibble on as the portions are obviously smaller than a main meal as its a 'tapas'

What can I say ? All my lunches at Casa Espana have just like in the bar around the corner in every village in Spain. Friendly service, home cooking and unbeattable prices ! The lentejas, tortilla and ensaladilla rusa taste just like you were in spain. It's an unpretentious place, and definitely the best and most authentic spanish food you... More

I has a few tapas here recently. The paella and albondigas were excellent. Huge portion sizes and good value for money. The only draw back that I would have is the exit / entrance at one end with people constantly walking past you, and a cold draught coming in.

I would give this a higher rating for food as it was really excellent. However, you can easily walk past as the display on the counter doesn't do them justice. The staff were at pains to make sure we were happy, though they should be treated to a new crisp, white outfit apiece by the boss.

Attracted with all the excellent reviews, I decided to give this place a try. It was a terrible mistake! As no paella was left, I chose lentil stew. What I got was utterly disappointing – a soup-like liquid with about three spoons of lentils floating in it. Unappetising and tasteless. Felt totally ripped off. For a price of 5 euro... More

If you like Spanish food, you won't be disapointed Well, at last I found a Spanish restaurant in Dublin that serves proper Spanish food without trying to adapt it to the Irish palate (there is always Santa Ponsa for that), in other words, it tastes the very same as eating in a family run restaurant in Spain. And that's exactly... More
