If you are staying at the Ashling Hotel (200 yards away) this is a must for at least one of your dinners, great food, great staff and fantastic service, the visitors, a lot from US whilst we were there in May 2012, tend to eat early, so if you want it quieter then go after 8pm More

Next door to Ryans Bar, this place does more than adequate food and has excellent service. It tries hard and is worth visiting should you find yourself near Phoenix Park. Although you may find a karaoke starting downstairs at about 9.30 on a Saturday in the bar downstairs the restaurant upstairs is relatively quiet, Despite arriving late on a Saturday... More

It's a shame we didn't discover this great pub until our last night in Dublin. Fantastic range of drinks, very friendly bar staff and tables with taps in the middle where you can pull your own pints! Particularly handy for heuston station or the ashling hotel. More

great choice of food and generous portions - pub atmosphere and friendlyness. Not cheap but nowhere in Dublin is cheap. More

This bar has lots of charm, lots of good food and drink and lots of room. I know there are plenty of bars in Dublin, one every 30 paces...but this one is worth the visit. If you take the double-decker city tour you will pass right by it and there is a stop within steps of the bar. More

This place was featured in my guide book as a 'not to be missed pub' - I don't understand, unless you are attracted to empty cold and expensive locations. Unfortunately we ate here twice, and the second time was worse, can someone tell me how they can charge 25 Euros for a surf and turf (steak and a few prawns... More
