Description: Maia brings a touch of modern elegance to Shelbourne Road, in the same building that housed owner Sasha Evans first project, The Bridge caf. The interior is sleek and contemporary complete with dark wood, cream banquette seating, and Evans own monochrome photographs on the walls. The menu is an eclectic mix of internationally-influenced dishes, like pan-fried Red Snapper with sweet potato and fennel salad; monkfish tail wrapped in parma ham with tomato ragout; and rack of spring lamb with pea mash, spring vegetables and rosemary jus. There are pastas, salads and homemade burgers too, so theres sure to be something for everyone. The concise wine list and flawless service make Maia an ideal setting for business lunches, intimate dinners and family gatherings.

Took French Toast and Eggs Benedict to a new level. The juices are all freshly squeezed. We had the Power Juice(Kiwi, OJ, Banana) and just plain OJ. Lattes and Expresso also wonderful. Went there based on Trip Advisor recommendation which was totally accurate. Great Great Great!!! More

After living in Italy for three years, when my family and I arrived in Dublin we were eager to find a place with great espresso, delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly for kids. Maia had it all! The sidewalk take-away bar has the best sandwiches, soups and espresso in town. Giuseppe, the head chef from Scilily, is a master of... More

broad ranging menu - most food cooked very well. Can vary quite a lot from day to day so depends on chef i guess but the food is almost always very tasty - just sometimes more than others. does a great brunch. would recommend it over the much hyped and loved juniors down the road. i like their coffee, fresh... Best value, super yummy lunch in Ballsbridge. They have these AMAZING sandwiches on fresh bread with great fries - all for €10. It's a place that is often overlooked, but totally great for lunch. Brunch is decent, but go for their fries. yumyumyum. More

My partner and I are regular customers at Maia as we work in the locale. The menu is fairly simple for lunch - try the Cuban Sandwich or the Spaghetti and Clams - and usually the specials are worth a try. The pizzas are perfectly light and tasty. There's nothing overly special about any of the food but it is... More

We're in Dublin on vacation; it's our last night here (Wed., Sep.15) and we really wanted something fun & special. We got lucky, because it was also close to our hotel. We found Maia in our hotel's (Butlers Town House Hotel) suggestion book and headed to it (it's easy walking distance from the new Aviva Stadium). It was great -... More

How wonderful to return to Ballsbridge and find the trendy Maia in the old Bridge Cafe's location with the same charasmatic owner at the helm. A great setting with nice lighting, cool music and a really good atmosphere. The food was great and really good value. The service was excellent even though the restaurant was full and the staff seemed... More

We have gone to Maia several times since it opened, and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is not too large, and it never gets too loud. The seats against the back wall sometimes can be put a bit close together, however. The menu isn't too large, but the quality of the food has always been excellent. The winelist is... More
