We decided to try Carluccios once more after 2 previous experiences of really bad service. Once we waited for 30 mins to be served a pasta which was cold and the second time, we left before being served (20mins and no order taken!)
Today, I foolishly returned and the manageress of this place tipped my daughter's coke into her lap...

This is one of the best consistent restaurants in the shopping district of Dublin. It is a great location, quiet street but 10 seconds to grafton shopping. Food is consistently excellent and the service friendly. Definitely a repeat place for me. Breakfasts are great with good, real, coffee. Dinners also excellent. I think the price is very reasonable for the...

My husband would have given this restaurant 10 stars if he could. I'll settle for 4 only because our server told me the anchovy taste in the pasta wasn't noticeable and it was quite strong. Other than that, the pasta was cooked perfectly, the fixed-price menu was a good deal and the appetizers were delicious.

Found just what we were looking for on a cold day in Dublin. The bean soup was very tasty and came with a lovely focaccia. The hot chocolate was yummy and we went back the next day to try their lemon tart and Carluccio's chocolate torta. All the waiters seem to be Italian! Total cost for soup and hot chocolate...

11am in Dublin on a Saturday is a lovely time. Town is coming to life and the locals are all coming to terms with the day. I could think of no better place to street-watch than the wall-seat in Carluccio's with a cappuccino and eggs benedict.

She had the Breaded chicken with potatoes and I had the Peppered sausage sauce with pasta
Basic but good food
I also had a glass of House White wine and we...

I knew Carluccio's restaurants from London and was very pleased to find one in Dublin (the only one in Ireland). Tasty food, nice interior, friendly staff, good service. And if you want to keep something: there's a shop associated to the restaurant, whre you can buy pesto, pasta and parma.

The trouble with chain restaurants is, however good, you feel controlled. Bruschetta was carelessly done and basically tomatoes on toast. Very poor. Pasta Putanesca was crudely spiced and small. Service was hurried-OK it's a chain bistro. Basically it needs to wake up to what it is supposed to be before it turns nto McCarluccio's. House red was just OK. Good...

Loved the deli you have to walk through to get to the restaurant. The menu was not overpowering, but had a great choice of very tasty dishes. This was the 4th time we have eaten here and loved it every time! Will be back
