This is a lovely little restaurant. The fixed price menu is very good value, the food is excellent. If visiting Cork, make sure you book in advance if you want to eat here.

We decided to venture out on a whim and having passed by the door of Les Gourmandises many times we were tempted by the menu so in we popped. I was a little put off at the start by the overly officious nature of the staff (we had no booking) we were told that we could of course have a...

Les Gourmandises is definetly an excellent restaurant and to be considered a jewel in Cork. The interior of the property is warm and cozy. The reception is pefect and during your stay the staffmembers take good care of you. You get value for money. The dishes are well prepared and there is attention for the presentation on the plates.

The wine was fantastic (the French wines are at 30-40 euro a bottle thou).
The atmosphere could be better: more pictures or colour on the wall (painted...
