I've been going to the Flying Enterprise for my lunch quite regularly over the last 5 years and today I've become sick and tired of the sloppiness of the deli staff. All rolls and sandwiches are thrown together, I've just opened my sandwich to fins most of the contents in a heap on the grease proof paper, I may as... More

Celebrated my retirement with large group of friends in the bar last night. We received a very warm welcome from Fionnuala and Tadhg and all the staff. Service was excellent and the bar food was hot and tasty. Every effort was made to make it a special occasion and I will certainly be going back.Highly recommended for your party. Well done... More

Myself and mum had the pleasure in visiting the Engterprise yesterday. From the moment we entered the establishment we were treated as if we were the only customers on site Finbar, the proprietor showed us to a really nice area as he could see mum was cold. He passed some really kind and amazing comments. The servers on duty were... More

I visited before and was disappointed, but I gave it another chance. Had roast lamb from the lunch menu. Very unimpressed. Pre sliced factory prepared cooked lamb over dollop of factory mash potatoes. Pre made onion gravy over meat. Heated selection of julienne carrots and parsnips with reheated mange tout on the side. In conclusion, this is a nice well... More

Was welcomed at the door, however I felt like I was being watched throughout my meal. We were also repeatedly checked up on, to the point where I was asked how my food was several times during the same course! Food tasted like it had been frozen then microwaved and was altogether far too greasy... Decor outdated and staff seemingly... More

I was at the bar but got some fabulous food. There was an amazing chicken wings with a homemade blue cheese dressing. It was really really tasty! The staff were really friendly too. Handy location too close to the city centre.

This is not gourmet food, but if you want welcoming, friendly, comfortable, good home cooking, bit of music on Saturday, style of evening, you can't beat The Flying Enterprise. It suited us, as three ladies on our first visit to Ireland. It was reasonably priced as well. We would have no hesitation in going back.

I've been there a few times, and always wondered why there weren't more people there. I was there for late lunches and early dinners though. All the food I've had there was great. It's a little on the pricey side, but the portions are generous. The desserts are fantastic, especially the bread pudding. I just had a huge breakfast for... More
