We got to Cork quite late (apparently) when all the restaurants stop serving (after 9?).... Thankfully someone directed us to Scott's and we were so satisfied with our meal, will highly recommend it to others. Service was great too. The appetizer portion of risotto saved the day and I'm still thinking about it...

We spent a week in County Cork and were directed to several nice but a little pricey restaurants. We wanted to eat somewhere "local" and not a chain so we struck out on our own. We found Scott's on a corner and gave it a try...the BEST chicken wings ever! Nothing like what you'll get in the US of A,... More

Had lunch here yesterday. Didn't want something dinnery so we both went for small coldplates, although there was loads in them. Had some of the gorgeous brown bread as well, so tasty. Although the restaurant was really busy, we managed to get a comfy table. Great atmosphere, very relaxed. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Ended up staying... More

As mentioned previously, this place is a good value 'pub food' type place, the 1/2 chicken & chips for 10 Euro is probably the best value around and its good and tasty. The bar staff are attentive without pressurising. So a nice atmosphere, good food reasonably priced, say no more squire!

Located in the heart of Oliver Plunkett street, Scott's is a great location for lunch or dinner while shopping.

Myself and my partner went for dinner twice in this bar.... it was such good value, the half chicken dinner with chips and side salad for €10 is amazing, so tasty... he was quoted as saying the best ever... went again Bank Holiday Monday, Carvery on with a selection of 8 dinners, and free tea/coffee... portion sizes where wonderful. We are living in Thurles and have decided with friends, that we will spend St.Stephen's day in Cork this year. Before we went there, we rang to Scott's to ask if we need to book a table, but we were told, that there's no need to book a table, that we can just come, have some dinner first at the... More

If you are looking for an early bird dinner in Cork this is your spot. The food is fresh, tasty and the veg are al dente - a rarity in an Irish pub serving food! I have been here often and the only downside is the service if the place is busy. They don't seem to be able to anticipate... More

Ate here before an upstairs concert for the sake of convenience, and were shocked at how excellent the food was. Large portions, interesting ingredients, adventurous combinations. Service was a bit slow and distracted, but not a serious problem. For smokers, there's a large indoor enclosed smoking section--very rare in Ireland. Also, since Scott's is also a popular pub and entertainment... More
