The Chop & Ale House is consistently good and serves up the best steak around. Unfortunately you can't book the C & AH, you just have to turn up and it can be busy in the early part of the evvening. The main restaurant is very, very expensive.

Wonderful food and first class beef served here. But it comes at a price. Their Steak and Ale house is better value but you can have some time to wait for a table. as no bookings are taken.
