Had a great dinner here. Had three great courses with a bottle of cider at a great price. We were lucky in the beginning as it was only us in the place, but towards the end we did have to wait a while to order dessert as it got a lot busier and only one waitress.

Not a fancy restaurant; in fact, very casual. But on the menu the night we dined were six fresh fish, each with a different potato prep; our turbot and hake were fresh that day, perfectly cooked and sauced, and the potato and other sides were great also. Lovely meal in clean, modern restaurant. Not a great location, but the scallops make up for it. Delicious. Pleasant service and a decent selection of malts too. To be recommended.

The Red Pepper Restaurant offers a choice of a traditional dinner menu in the dining room and pub food in the bar next door. While not exceptional, the food is good and the service is very friendly.

Visited the Red Pepper with 4 friends after an indifferent meal the previous night at my Hotel. Everyone had a good meal and my sea bass was excellent. Skipped pudding but those who indulged were pleased. Would recommend

This place is pretty decent and seems reliable have been a few times now, in both the restaurant and the bar. Has internet access too which is a bonus being there on business. Good choice of locally caught fish etc

Thurso is not blessed with great places to eat but the Red Pepper provides excellent food and service. We dined with family over Christmas and found the staff courteous, efficient and entertaining. The food was excellent and well presented.
