Stopped here for weekend lunch before heading back to the airport. It was Sunday lunchtime, but it wasn't busy, with only two tables occupied when we arrived. We opted to have the lunchtime deal - two courses for £9.95. My husband had minestrone soup and penne pasta and I had the courgette frittata and the chicken dish. My starter wasn't... More

Looked lovely with open kitchen and the food we ordered did taste lovely but it was more like a menu taster. The bruschetta was tiny, one measly 2cm by 2cm bit of bread with a sprinkling of rocket. The main was a tiny piece of sea bass with a sprinkling if rocket and three tiny boiled potatoes cut in half.... More

Visited this restaurant for the first time in years on Monday afternoon for a quick 2 course lunch at £9.95. We ended up staying for 3 hours and throughly enjoyed the experience! Firstly the staff are excellent and make you feel very welcome - even the manager took time to sit with us for a chat after our meal. We... More

Excellent service , wonderful atmosphere and the food was excellent. Nothing was too much bother to them, they even had wifi which was a great bonus. Everything thing about this place was perfect.

Went in for what was supposed to be a quick lunch... 1hr 40 minutes for two courses. The place was very busy, near full but 20 minutes before we got our drinks and 35 minutes between courses is just too long for a basic lunch menu of a cold starter and pasta main. Food was okay nothing special and I... More

Must have eaten in this place over a hundred times in its former life when owned by Toni and Claudio. Must say it has changed as completely different decor and owners. The food is still excellent and it's a lot more modern now, but I feel it maybe lacks a bit of atmosphere as previous. That said, staff and food... More

We have been twice and each time it has been excellent. We felt that 'all the staff' were friendly and attentive. Each dish we had was first class and perfectly adequate portion sizes. Try a late lunch to avoid the biz. If you like Italian food, you'll love O Sole Mio.

We took advantage of the pre theatre deal of £12.95 for 2 courses with an additional £3 surcharge if you decide to try a desert, which after experiencing the delicious fare of the first two courses you are sure to do . . . The staff were friendly and attentive and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and... More
