Everything we ate was absolutely top notch and delicious. A great place for a special dinner. The staff were very attentive. One of our best meals of the trip. On the expensive side, but not outrageous, and totally worth it. Dressy attire.

It takes a little bit of effort to get here from the city centre but it is definitely worth it. Lunch was delicious, the portion sizes were good and it was great value. Three courses £19.50. The staff were genuinely friendly but not over attentive. I am planning a return visit already.

Visited Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery for a pre theatre and enjoyed every minute of the visit. First impressions were amazing with decor and ambience reminiscent of times gone by. The service and food also lived up to this. Value for the pre theatre was fantastic and the standard of service ws second to none. A place to impress... More

First visit to the Two Fat Ladies Buttery - was blown away! We were served by Ian/Iain who was truly an amazing host/waiter. Could not do enough to ensure we had a great experience. Pre theatre menu was outstanding value for money. We shared a pineapple and coconut ice cream dessert. When ian/Iain collected the plate I thanked him for... More

10 min walk from Menzies hotel and into a not so exciting neighborhood we almost wondered if TripAdvisor had got it wrong. It was where it should be and we walked into a very different environment - calm, slightly musty initially, but it was great to sit down to a table with white table clothes, a nice menu and good... I visited this restaurant tonight with my husband. This was a charity evening and you paid what you thought the evening was worth with local companies donating food and drink. The chefs were front of house staff for the night and front of house staff the chefs. The service was excellent and every member of staff friendly and wanting to... More

We had a pleasant Saturday evening in this restaurant, now part of a mini-chain of 3 restaurants. The room is a excellent example of old-style, club room restaurant. The servcie was efficient and friendly and the food good. I am not sure this is good enough for a restaurant with some ambition. Both main courses were perfectly fine - monkfish... More

Been here a few times when I've been on business in Glasgow and always had the most amazing meals. Tastful decor, great service and the most wonderful food! Especially like the plate of deserts, so that that you can get to try the all out - amazing! Will be back again as this is one of my all time favourites.
