Four of us visited the Two Bridges Restaurant, 2 Newhalls Road, South Queensferry on Sunday 27th May 2012. This was a Groupon Voucher purchase. When I originally telephoned to book the restaurant I was informed that they did not serve food between four and five o’clock as the kitchen had to get ready, therefore, we booked for 5:15pm. My husband... More

Our Groupon voucher offer was for 2 courses and a glass of wine. Both starters were acceptable, but disappointing - the 3 deep fried mushrooms served as a starter OK - just, and the tomato soup was almost hot. The spare ribs offered little meat and the battered fish was very dry. Both dishes were served on cold plates. The... More

Our table of 8 visited the Two Bridges on a glorious Saturday night, and had a great meal. We had read the negative reviews and were not particularly looking forward to to it but as we were on a groupon deal decided to go anyway. We were greeted by very friendly staff, shown quicky to our reserved table and offered... More

My wife and I booked our meal last night using our Groupon voucher. This consisted of a starter, steak and chips and a glass of wine each. On the face of it a good deal, in reality it was so different. My wife chose the home made fish cakes for starters, how do they get them exactly the same size... More

Bit of a mixed bag, food was average but a lovely setting. Prices are not too bad though

A lot of the food seemed to be bought in and not fresh, there were a few things on the menu that they didn't have. Staff were nice but the food was below par

Where could I start, when you ask for chilli burger (hand made) you do not expect a ham burger with a couple of jalepeno's on top? The burger tasted like it was made of hands rather than hand made. The waitresses seemed nice but dim, the table opposite was given their bill before they had cleared the starter dishes away... More

What can only be described as a pubic hair in soup. Cremated sauces that were almost black with colour, waterless soup. Chilli burger with no chilli. Waitresses polite management completely rude and unhelpful. Disgraceful service and charged £2 a can of juice. Disgusted by the overall experience.

Warm welcoming staff and bar staff let down by the food. Steaks with no offer of sauces. My main was supposed to come with rice - it didn't. Ran out of Guiness and most desserts. Won't be back

Just had a fantastic meal using my Groupon voucher. Food was amazing, views are stunning and the staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. I had steak and my partner had oven baked haddock both were delicious with great flavour. The chef accomodated my wifes dietry requirements. Will definately be back and will recomend this place to alot... More
