very small, loads of candles burning (fire hazard) not enough room to breathe and then we went downstairs, full to the brim....

This place is incredible, the staff really engage with the customers and it helps create an atmosphere that feels warm and inviting to everyone who walks through the doors. I can't recommend this little gem of a bar highly enough. The boys who run the bar always make you feel welcome. They do a sassy collection of cocktails and the food is top notch. The atmosphere makes this a place you will want to revisit time and time again

The Cuckoo's Nest offers an extensive and affordable menu, served until 10pm, as well as a wide range of inventive cocktails and a variety of quality bottled beer. The quiz on a Monday is well worth attending as its witty host will keep you entertained from 8.39pm onwards. A cracking little pub!
