This is our local restaurant where the amosphere is lovely, food simple but good and the ambience really chilled. Would not be up there in all the toursit guides but if you are staying in the west side of town and want an excellent value meal then this is the place to go. Simple starters, pasta dishes and pizza with... More

Reasonably priced, mainly pasta and pizza dishes. Steak and chicken also available but fish is generally only on the special menu. Food is simple but tasty. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Can't recommend this restaurant more!

A little local gem for my wife and I. The pizza's taste great and are good value. the carafe's of wine are nice and a good accompaniment to the dishes. Service always very friendly. An excellent restaurant!

I minute walk from the Fountainbridge cinema complex and a real 'find'. The owner/chef continues to serve up excellent authentic italian fayre. The place is small, maybe even cramped but well worth the visit and infinitely better than the 'chains' on offer by the cinema. Worth going for any reason at all. We've been a few times over the last... More

I have lost count of the amount of times I have visited this little gem. I know the menu inside out and back to front. The food here is delicious and I highly recommend the seafood risotto or the salmon tagliatelle. Value for money is 20 out of 10 since most main dishes cost around 6-8 quid. The menu has... More

What an absolute treat to find - I live nearby and friends had told me about this little place and how good it was. Finally I went for dinner and was so surprised by the quality of the food and welcoming staff - fantastic on every count. Excellent Pizza's, nicely cooked pasta and the house wine was thoroughly acceptable. The... More

I live close to Piatto Verde and have now visited the restaurant a few times, and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The place is very small and family-run, with only around 25 covers. It is also extremely good value (around £6 for excellent pizzas), and is a great place to visit for a meal in the local area, without venturing... More

I have eaten in that lovely restaurant on a couple occasions and if I haven't moved out of town I would be there more often. Very warm and romantic place busy but not noisy. Food is amazing! Truly Italian, delicate and very tasty! Lovely place for family meals, dates and and any occasions where you want to be able to... More
