Went last night with parents, really cosy place with lively and friendly atmosphere. Staff were really welcoming and our waitress in particular (brown ponytail, big smile, I think she was english!) Was so warm and lovely and really made us feel at home. Food was better than average pub grub and we left feeling warmed and thoroughly cheered up.

I ate at the beehive on a wednsday night with my husband. We had already chosen to eat here after getting such a lovely welcome when popping in the day before to see the menu and find out about the serving times. I enjoyed a tasty and large lunch. Excellent food, service, music and location! A warm recommendation for fish and chips.

I went here for a fun night out - very cosy and up close comedy club based upstairs to the pub. Great night very funny less well known (for now) comedians would recomend for a great night out to anyone

Called in for food and drinks. Were greeted by very friendly staff who took our drink s order from our table. She then returned later to top up our drinks and take our food order . lovely food really finished the evening off. Would definitely return. Thanks to all the staff.

Most welcome warm traditional Inn on a chilly Edinburgh evening! Lovely food at a reasonable price and the staff were great with the children.
