I visited this place on at least dozen occasions. On a nice summer day you cant go wrong with a nice cold cider sipped outside with a cool breeze from the river ... if you are a fish person, i recommend their menu.

Part of a large group for dinner. Despite the size of our group over 20, the service was fast and efficient. The soup and fish were both done well. The place was packed otherwise and seems to be a popular place for both the locals and the visitors

Went to Room In Leith for lunch. Nice atmosphere in conservatory. Food was good and very well presented, especially the starters. Steak could have been leaner and more chargrilled tasting on this occasion, but fish dish was superb. Friendly, cheery service. Would recommend.

I have not eaten in the restaurant (yet) but a repeat visit to the bar reminded me of how much I like this place. Four of us had four very different drinks - coffee, ginger beer, wine, tea - and all served nicely, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit.
