How Deli's used to be and should still be! Love this place and always make a stop every time we are in Cardiff. The selection is great and friendly helpful service.

I have visited Wally's on about three occasions. The last time was yesterday when everything went wrong!
Generally, this small restaurant (more of a cafe really) provides an intersting range of food including cakes. Its location is directly above Wally's shop in the Royal Arcade. Access to the restaurant is via the shop. Through a number of windows in the...

I could spend hours in here - and it usually has what I'm looking for from German mustard to sushi ingredients! Even better now they have a coffee shop upstairs too.
Once I've completed a standard weekly shop, I then make my way over to Wally's to get the good stuff! The variety of cheeses, olives, breads and especially the meats are all of the highest quality and taste amazing. The billtong on offer is particularly good and worth the visit alone!
Picked up a bunch of stuff for a picnic. Meats, cheeses, olives, bread - all superbly recommended by the staff and absolutely delicious! They also have a bunch of imported international foods for those feeling a bit homesick! Also - the ice cream and gelati they have there is sensational!
A brilliant deli which stocks everything you can think of and some items are much cheaper than the supermarkets. Stocks just about everything you can think of, a must visit place for foodies. Meats, spices, herbs and more from all over the world.
Consistantly good selection and service, always helpful, new stock arrives constantly, excellent tasters
I hate to say this, because I've loved Wally's deli for years, but the cafe isn't all that. We quite enjoyed the lunch that we ate, and its certainly unusually fare for Cardiff, but the portions were really rather small, but the prices most definitely weren't!
I'll definitely keep shopping in the deli but probably won't eat lunch here again,...
