Spent a memorable couple of hours at Pen y Ceunant after completing the three peaks challenge. The soup and local cake were amazing and only came second to the hospitality. A must for anyone visiting Llanberis!!

He'll happily let you dry your socks on his open fire while serving big portions of cake and tea at great prices!!!....... And all proceeds go directly to...

Called in on the descent, roaring fire, larger than life owner, great coffee and cake in minutes.
With the offer to warm up any of our food, guided tour of the cafe, and recommendation of attractions and places to stay locally - we found the owner very engaging.

Nice place at the foot of Snowdon that you can stop at to have tea and cake in Summer. A little expensive for the area, but good service.
We didn't know of this place and arrived here last Spring, freezing cold and quite worn out from our long trek. The man who owns this little gem is such a character! We were the only customers on that particular day but, what a spot! We had such a laugh! We ended up having pot after pot of tea and...
