Me and my husband visited recently for an anniversary meal. The restaurant was packed which isnt suprising considering the wonderful food we ate. We both opted for a pork belly main which was to die for! Puddings were lovely too. All the staff were wonderful and service was great. But the best thing has to be the atmosphere of the... More

What a wonderful find. We normally like to try different eating places when we are away but once we found Ty Gwyn we ate here for the four nights we were staying in Bettws-y-Coed. The menu had sufficient choices for the four of us to all choose different dishes, starters, main and sweets and thoroughly enjoy each one. We were... More

Brilliant restaurant. Wonderfull menu choice and every meal delivered to our large party (10 people) merited a 'ooooh, that looks nice' and everyone was delighted with their choice of food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Came in here one night whilst I was staying in Betws-y-Coed with my wife for a few nights. It was a bit of a trek through town to get there, and the staff were a bit... erm... "lackluster" and were all quite young. The guy serving behind the bar looked like he needed a bit of a wash and his... More

We arrived quite late in Betws-y-coed, and the staff at Ty Gwyn were very welcoming. Even though we had a party of 7 people we weren`t rushed and the food came out quite promptly. The food was fantastic... everyone commented on the great quality and taste of every dish!! We will definately be back!

If you are staying anywhere near Betws Y Coed you must book dinner in Ty Gwyn. It’s well worth the short walk out of town across the Waterloo Bridge to eat at this popular Coaching Inn. The menu is varied and the kitchen sends out top quality food to the bar and the restaurant. We both had starters of fish... More

lovely really old y /world y little pub restaurant on main road , food was superb, but beware you may need to book as also popular with locals. of note parking can be difficult and on a main road , although there is a little pull in just down from the T junction.

The building looks welcoming and beautiful outside, but inside it's rather dark and shabby. We arrived around 1.30 PM and they had already stopped serving lunch. The waitress, who was very friendly and polite, told us that the cook had gone home and there were only a couple of cold dishes on the bar menu available and hot soup. So... More
