Description: Thai Edge is, without a doubt, one of Leeds most singular restaurants. With clean lines and a modern dcor, complete with white paint, neon lighting and sleek curved bar, Thai Edge provides its guests with a break from the Asian restaurant norm. This contemporary setting is the perfect backdrop for what is, in fact, very traditional dining. Indeed Thai Edges chefs see no reason to mess with the best, sticking to the authentic recipes of the South East Asian kingdom with their subtle blend of distinctive flavours. Head Chef Mit Jeensanthai, with many years of experience behind the cooker, oversees the vastly comprehensive Thai Edge menu with its numerous dishes, ranging from delicate noodles to robust, spiced curries served with fragrant rice and delicious appetisers that put other Asian nibbles in the shade. With ingredients imported all the way from Thailand, at Thai Edge you really are guaranteed a true taste of the East.

Good variety and quality food, decor, pleasant service; nice views and location near Millenium Square. Drink a bit on the expensive side, but there doesn't seem to be a level standard in Leeds these days, prices are all over the place, often in places next door to each other. Shall certainly go again.

I liked the Sunday buffet. It was cheap for its quality. It includes: sushis, fish, curry and/or rice for pudding you got pancakes and a chocolate fountain. It was no doubt delicious. It's great for family and friends. I certainly recommend going

We tried their sunday lunch buffet. the food quality was excellent. The number of items in the buffet was a bit small. Specially, the dessert section has very limited options.

Would highly recommend the lunch time meal deal available. 2 courses for a set price (can't remember exactly how much). excellent food, and service, however the restaurant was eerily empty. Not sure why because we loved it!

I have reviewed Thai Edge before very negatively both for the food and the service but felt I owed them another. I ate here one Friday night in March with a very large group. We were on time to our reservation but still had to wait for our table. Orders were taken fairly quickly but staff did not ask everyone... More

We took the family on a Sunday night - 2 adults and five teenagers. Nice choice of food. Well cooked. Good service and pleasant staff. We have been several times and never disappointed.

This restaurant is very well decorated and plush inside, so if its setting your after then you cannot fault it. The starters were very good indeed, I cannot recommend the steamed scallops enough however the mains were just average, nothing wow I'm afraid. The drinks were very slow to arrive and had to be prompted a few times. Overall I... More

Many thanks for your recent review I'm glad you enjoyed the decor and steamed scallops so is my favourite too. But I'm very disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy the mains, you also stated that our price is expensive. Please try our different menu offers as; Sunday Buffet Lunch £10.95, evening £13.95 Monday-Saturday Lunch £8.50 2 course meal... More

We did Friday night per-theatre dinner which was £8.50 for 2 courses with prawn crackers. The service was great and the food was faultless. I had spare ribs and a jungle curry which is made without coconut milk. We didn't get enough rice but they brought lots more when we asked. The only downside was that a large lime and... More

Thank you so much for your recent review but I am not sure it shows that you visited us April 2012. However, I am very sorry that everything failed to meet our usual standards. Please if you could email me your email details to info@thaiedgeleeds.co.uk. I would be very grateful and assure you that we always take reviews like this... More
