We first visited here at valentines and the sea food was not great then. This time the food was very good. My only issue was that the cheesecake was much too sweet. Had the lobster pasta girlfriend had the steak all very nice. Nice range of starters. £80 for both of us including drinks.
We had a table for four on Sat 18th. This was our 2nd visit here as we said we would be back, this time with the parents. Yet again fantastic food from a fantastic menu.
As the title suggests the only downside was after being seated, waited 20 mins for our order to be taken which included our first drink....

Must have caught them on a bad night, as the reviews were good... Felt as though they wanted the table for someone else, we booked for 6.45 and finished all three courses within the hour! My plate was nearly taken before i had even finished. We were waiting for the music to stop as the tables and chairs around us...

Forget about San Carlo. If you want Italian then go to Cucina Rustica.
In the heart of the St Pauls district, close to lots of great bars and The Jam House this is a fantastic restaurant.
We went as a group of 6 on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was fabulous - very relaxed - the place was full and...

Went here for partners birthday, just two of us, didn't like seating arrangements, too close to other guests. Table was booked for 6.30 and we had the dessert menu by 7.15. Food was ok though. Some of the staff are Italian, the waitresses are mostly Eastern European and very polite. Was supposed to be be a pleasant night out at...

The food here was of the highest quality with excellent wines to go with the meal. The staff are all Italian and are very pleasant. I arrived early and sat at the bar chatting to the staff about Italy. I even got to try a bit of a pear that had been sitting in alcohol for 30 years which burned...

Ive eaten here for business meetings and as a couple and think its fantastic.. not too pretentious, just good italian food. In my opinion its the better than pasta di piazza and locanta which are located very close by. Staff are attentive but not annoyingly so, they know when to leave you to it.
Went with a Group of Friends. We were served very quickly despite it being very busy. Lovely atmosphere, will be back again for sure.
