Have eaten here often until recently. Unfortunately we feel the Unicorn has gone downhill since the new landlords took over. The atmosphere and general ambience isn't at all as nice as it used to be. Overall feeling of a lack of care. Poor service and a grumpy Landlord ! Food too has gone down in quality and in sizing.

There are lots of familys who go here and theres a playground 5 mins away, so I recommend it if you have kids. Saying that, we didnt leave a tip as the service was really not good. Waiting times at the bar for a drink are outragous. Food average, but smaller portions than they used to be, and not as well cooked or presented. Prices are far too high for what you get. Shame. Remember when it first opened, was very pleasantly surprised. Now, not a patch on what it used to be.

Visited a few weeks ago. Waited at bar about 20 minutes to order We has to wait hour to be served only after we had to asked after somebody else was served before us. Then the food was cold we was given a partial refund Will not be back in a rush
