I've not been to this Restaurant for a while, even though its only 10 minutes walk from my home. But my son, a curry fan, has wanted to go for a while, so off we went, with my Daughter and a friend. The Restaurant is lovely inside, not your typical Indian. It's bright, airy, open planned and rather posh looking.... More

Sunday night takeaway special at £9.95 for starter, main, rice, naan, and side. Also available on a Thursday. We had 2 specials between us and decided (next time) that 1 would be enough. Definitely no scrimping on portions with plenty of chicken in both mains (Tikka Jaipuri and Pathia). Good flavours in all dishes. Restaurant itself was quite quiet and... More

Dined in on Saturday evening and was welcomed to a nice and open atmosphere. Immediately greeted by a warm and friendly waiting staff who gave exceptional service throughout the meal. Drinks are extensive also reasonably priced. Food was FANTASTIC! Portions were generous, and the tastes and smells were unique in their own right. No other restaurant I've been to has... More

We generally get together with a few people from work for their Thursday night offer. For £14 per person, you can get a starter, main, rice, side dish to share and sundry to share. Coffee and mints too. Beer is spot on - a decent selection of indian beers. We've been coming for a few months now, and although our... More

Our favourite Indian restaurant, where we've dined regularly and enjoyed wonderful South Asian dishes each and every year since Days of the Raj opened back in 2003. I reckon that gives me the right to dismiss completely (and with the total contempt they deserve) those Groupon morons. Such ridiculous and spiteful 'reviews' really do bring Trip Advisor into disrepute. Anyway,... More

I have been going to this restaurant for years, the staff are always very friendly, food is gorgeous and not too expensive. The restaurant is decorated nice and modern, very spacious, very clean. I travel 15 miles from home to come to this restaurant, very surprised about the bad reviews.

Went with a group of my friends for a celebration dinner on a busy Saturday. Even though it was busy the staff were very welcoming and polite. Our order was taken swiftly and the food was delicious. I cannot fault anything about the food or service. I would recommend this to everyone. I have been coming to the Raj for... More

Have had takeaways from here a few times which have been lovely, so when there was a good voucher on Groupon we decided to take advantage. We only live a couple of minutes walk away and will stick to take aways in future. It said on the website there was live music on Fridays but nothing to be seen or... More

No words for this place, quite simply rude miserable staff, with poor quality food. Went with few work colleagues, and we were all dissappointed and all had same conclusion.... Would not come back even for free food. The staff especially the manager were rude and miserable. The food was poor with excessive oil levels
