Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

This is probably the most memorable experience I took away from our trip to Bath. Wonderful restaurant, FANTASTIC food, and good atmosphere -- you wouldn't realize it from the tiny entrance down a narrow staircase in the front. And the price was great. I've never tried Nepalese before, but am now longing to have more at the same quality as... More

I came here before about 2 years ago. I returned and it is equally as good as it was then. Everything about this place is lovely. Service is perfectly paced, atmosphere is well suited and the food is delicious. Furthermore, it offers excellent value for money. It can take a little finding, but hunt it out and you will leave... This was our first time ever having Nepalese food... We both like Indian, so we figured we would try it. Very happy we did! There are certainly differences between the two, but we now a devotees of Nepalese as well!!!! The portions aren't as huge as at most Indian restaurants, but more than adequate. Can't say enough about this place.... More

We at first passed this Restaurant in our city walk and noticed the strange name. Another traveller recommended it to us and we were pleasantly surprised. The interior was amazing with a great Himalayan-Nepalese Theme. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was the best I have tasted. Food was tasty and spicy but not strong that we did not... We enjoyed a lovely two course set meal here for my friend's hen weekend. The service was superb and the food was very good for a great price - very good value. I didn't look at the standard menu so I don't know if that is as good value as they set meals. Nice decor too! There are steep steps... More

Excellent food, superb service, two courses and a bottle of wine came to about £48. Very friendly and relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, great to try new, tasty foods. Young gay couple, we were made to feel very welcome. Quiet, calm, very tasty meat dishes extremely well priced.

The thing that stands out about this place is the service. The waiters and waitresses are so warm and welcoming. I admire this restaurant for bringing Nepalese cuisine to Bath. The decor is colourful and the menus tell a story about the roots of the dishes. It's really an experience. While I enjoyed the experience, the food was average and... More

We ate here early in the evening - two adults and four children: a 12-year old, two 10-year olds and an 8 year old, all boys and all full of energy - having had it recommended to us by my 24-year-old son. We all loved it! Sitting on the floor cushions added to the fun, and the early evening fixed-price... More
