Visited with my wife for a spot of lunch. Was very surprised to see such a great menu in a "cafe". I had a roast med veg salad with halumi and my wife had scallops with bacon and avocado. Both dishes were superb and good value. We followed this by sharing a lovely piece of homemade orange cake. We will... More

but the food is really good. Admittedly I only had a BLT sandwich and a cup of tea but it was a superb sandwich with gloriously fresh bread and tasty crispy bacon. service was fast and very friendly. An excellent stop when out shopping. I can also highly recommend the cheese shop itself. They have a wonderful selection of cheese... More

Tucked away opposite the Hilton, this is an eclectic mix of cheese shop and cafe. As a previous report suggests, the cafe, which is spread over two or three rooms, could do with a bit of TLC and paint. That said, the food was very good, especially their cheese souffle.

And a great place to have a snack, but lets just look a little deeper, service is questionable, admittedly you have to stand in line and know what you want, slight problem if your chosen menu has run out, you have start the queue again, hey ho a pity no one explains the rules. As cheese is the theme of this... More

We are regulars here at this stage. Lovely food, great atmosphere, fabulous staff, comfy surroundings. Great place to meet friends and to pick up some delicious cheese to take home. Highly recommended.

Used to be our favourite haunt for coffee and a light lunch but since changes before Christmas staff have lost their engagement and it has become grubby. 3 out of 5 hoping they will return to the old ethos.

Very friendly staff and no complaints about the food. Not the cheapest place around and although it was relatively quiet at the time of our visit, you got the impression that we'd just missed a vist by a large coach party and that not all the staff had managed to catch their breath. I can't think of any other reason... More

Great food with very friendly hosts, particularly if you like cheese. The shop attached sells huge amounts of great cheese as well.

Visited bath on a busy Saturday and popped in for some light lunch. Great choice of food from sandwiches to pheasant with rosti potato. I had a twice baked cheese souffle and my wife had a scallops & gruyere cheese dish. Both were presented very well and tasted super. Overall a lovely experience and although busy staff could not have... More

This place was recommended from chance conversations, so we decided to try it out. Good idea, it turned out. We had a very tasty lunch, nicely presented, and served by friendly staff. So much better than the plethora of chains and franchises. I would suggest that they consider a hand drier or paper towel dispenser in the loo which is... More
