Good food. Good value. Very friendly. You will enjoy Chequers.
We dropped in for our office Christmas meal a busy period that often tests the very best establishments, however not the Chequers team. The menu was spit on full of seasonal produce. Daughter had roast beef with yorkshire pudding while my wife and I had venison with bread sauce....

Main courses - steak with home made chips or fries, Mendip lamb with curried chick peas, chicken with wild mushrooms, pan fried sea...
