The best soup in the city. Very nice atmosphere. Accommodating personnel.

Cramped seating, uninspired menu, very limited wine list, unattentive wait staff, and the food was nothing special--a poor value and dining experience that did not match up to other less expensive venues nearby! Save your yearning for good French cuisine for another place.
Dear CBS-CHS everyone is entitled to their opinion and we are sorry that your opinion of our food and wine was so different from most of our customers. We do try to check with every diner that their meal is to their liking once food has been delivered. Also, our menu is available on our website and outside the restaurant...

I would strongly recommend it! It is slightly more expensive than other places, but it definitely is worth it. The food was fantastic - very delicious. The restaurant is located in the centre and certainly is popular as we could see, but at that very quiet. The service was great, too.
Casanis is run by a husband-wife team serving up good staple, authentic Southern French food. Prices are reasonable. Quality of ingredients is fine; cooking is rather over-seasoned for my taste and some dishes "too cluttered" - too many ingredients. Overall the food was OK but nothing very special. I have been to Casanis before and the previous experience was similar....

Casanis is really a fabulous restaurant and a great find in Bath. I went there with my family and we all really enjoyed it. A really authentic, seasonal cooking with good taste and good selection just like in a good french restaurant. The service was good and personal and we had a seating downstairs which was really nice and intimate.
Hidden away in a street up a hill in an old house, its worth the effort to find. Every meal I've had at Casanis has been wonderful.
We managed to get a table at short notice following a cancellation . Really good food and attentive waitress . We had a table on the first floor but the atmosphere downstairs was a bit more intimate . Limited toilet facilities . All in all a good choice with very well presented dishes
Booked this resturant for one evening as we were in Bath for the weekend, we used Trip Advisor to hep us with our resturant choice.
When you first arrive and get shown to your table you do feel as if you are in France as the atmosphere was very good.
The food was good but nothing exceptional, but plenty of...

Nothing to tell, just an amazing meal, great service, first class French bistro
We were told about this restaurant by a friend and I cannot recommend it enough!
Tucked away at the top of Bath's centre, this is a tiny, friendly little restaurant with a great atmosphere and the most fabulous food (is it going too far to say unrivalled in Bath bar maybe only the Circus Restaurant?!)
The staff are all friendly,...
