Really lovely food and friendly staff but one waiter told us that the catch of the day was coley when it was actually salmon and the tables seem too close together as we were practically on top of another very noisy couple.

Food was excellent. We had to wait because it was freshly cooked. But the wait was certainly worth it. The only slightly down side was the pub was a little cold. But then it was a cold day. Will definitely be back.

Went for the early bird menu straight after work, 2 courses £14 3 courses £16 with either a glass of wine or a pint of real ale. Bit disappointing! Building was cold, food pretty average but expensive. Service was kinda poor too. Shame!

I have been here several times, the staff are always helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and the cocktails are fantastic. Would recommend to anyone.

Went here early April. Quite busy, not too noisy. VERY uncomfortable seats - how much would some cushions cost? Starters good, main courses rather bland, looked good in print but lacked flavour. They do serve local beers ( good ones ! ) at sensible prices which is a very welcome change.
